Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy is outlined below. We want to be as transparent as possible – rest assured that we don’t do anything nefarious with your personal data – we only use it for it’s specified purpose, and then delete it. We don’t, and won’t, share it with any third parties.

We do also collect anonymous IP address information for the sake of site traffic analytics – this is collected and stored by Google analytics, and is subject to their privacy policy.

  • Your full name.
  • Your e-mail address.
  • Your contact phone number.
  • Your home address
  • The IP address of the machine you placed the order with.

Why do we collect this data?

Your e-mail address – To validate your identity online and to contact you if needed.
Your phone number – To contact you if needed, for example a problem with your order.
Your home address – To validate payment details and ship your order.

Do we share any data?

Manhaton Records will never sell your personal data. However, we do have to share certain aspects of it in order to deliver our service. These are:

  • When you complete the checkout form and are taken to our external payment partner (Paypal), your information such as name, e-mail, address, and phone number are passed automatically to them in order for you to complete the transaction. This saves you having to enter the information twice.
  • If you opt to sign up to our mailing list, your name and e-mail address will be passed on to our mailing list service provider (Mailchimp).

In these situations, your data is subject to these external company’s privacy policies, which can be found here:

How long do we hold your data for?

Our goal is to only hold your data for as long as we need it to complete orders, and be able and prepared for returns etc. We regularly go through and remove completed order information and customer data for the purpose of not holding your data any longer than we have to. It’s difficult to specify an exact time, as each order is different, but we aim to remove all old data within 12 months of the order.

What are my rights?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a legal right to request a copy of all the personal data we may hold for you, and also to request that this information be deleted from our records.

If you would like to enact these rights, please send an e-mail to arm@manhatonrecords.com requesting this. It’s very important that you send this from the e-mail address you will have used to place your order, so that we can verify your identity.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
